Special Precautions

May cause CNS & resp tract depression in high doses & in patient w/ resp tract disorder eg, asthma & emphysema. Patients who are sleepy, feel debilitated & hypoxic. Concomitant use w/ other CNS depressant. May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery. Hepatic impairment. Not recommended during pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn <6 yr.
